VISION

The Center for Culture and Frontier Studies (CCFS), a research organization established by a rule of Rector of Brawijaya University in 2013, will be a leading academic organization dedicated to advancing, applying and facilitating high standards of social, culture and frontier studies research practice and actively participate in nation building through research and community services for a wide variety of audiences within the university and across community, state and national arenas.

 

 

Missions

MISSIONS

CCFS is committed to enhancing social, culture and frontiers research support to scholars and public agencies for research, service, and educational activities. Its primary objectives are:

  • To be a leading research center dedicated to the study of socio-political, cultural trends, and frontiers studies in Southeast Asia.
  • To conduct qualified research and community services on culture and frontier studies
  • To undertake development and dissemination of science, humanity, and art, as well as pursuing its use to improve people’s lives and strengthen national culture.

The Institute conducts a range of research programmes; holds conferences, workshops, lectures and seminars; publishes briefs, research journals and books; and generally provides a range of research support facilities, including a large library collection.
